About Course

Access to Catering introduces learners to the catering and hospitality industry. The course provides the essential knowledge and practical skills required to work safely in food preparation and catering environments.

Learners will achieve a Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering, preparing them for employment or further study within the hospitality sector.

Guided Learning Hours

30–120 hours depending on the course.

• Full-time and Part-time
• Morning or Afternoon classes
• Monday to Friday
• Monday, Wednesday & Friday
• Tuesday & Thursday

Progression

Progress to the next level, vocational training or employment opportunities.

Eligibility

• Aged 19 and over
• Claiming eligible benefits
• Unemployed or on low wages
• Resident in the UK for the past three years
• Able to provide valid ID, passport, EU Settlement Status or UK long birth certificate
